High performance cleaning

Oil and grease seem to always find their way to the outside of engines. Dust and dirt stick to the oily surface and absorb even more oil. If this process is allowed to continue, a thick grimy coating forms. Valvoline engine cleaner contains powerful solvents and cleaners to quickly penetrate grease, oil, dirt and grime. Detergents then help water wash away the emulsified oil and dirt. Unlike foamy engine degreaser that hold the cleaners away from the surface to be cleaned with air bubbles, Valvoline engine cleaner wets the surface, concentrating all its cleaning power directly on the engine. Valvoline engine cleaner contains no chlorinated solvents and is even safe to use on painted concrete or painted blocks.

Easy to use

Scrape off heavy buildup of grease and grime. For best results, engine should be warm (NOT HOT). If engine is cold, start and let idle until warm. If engine is at full operating temperature (HOT), let cool for thirty minutes. Cover distributor and carburetor with plastic. Spray Valvoline engine cleaner directly onto surface to be cleaned. Allow to penetrate grease, oil or grime and hose off with water.

PROBLEM CAUSE PERFORMANCE  APPLICATION
Excessive build up of oil dirt and grime on the outside of the engine. Oil seeping from the engine, dirt adheres to the oil film and if the process is allowed to continue, a heavy build up occurs. Powerful cleaners and solvents quickly penetrate the build up and allow a normal stream of water to wash them away after a few minutes of soaking. Scrape off heavy build up and then hold the can upright 15-20 cm. from the surface to be cleaned and spray. Allow the cleaner to penetrate, and hose off.
