After the first gruelling stage, that saw 3 Dutch trucks out of the race and of course the nerves of it being the first stage with the bad memory of last years crash, we can now safely saw that Vd Brink is back in Dakar! Starting the second stage from 41ste place he began an impressive race and ended 16th at the end of the day, overtaking 15 trucks!!
With the new rules in place, the Valvoline truck from Vd Brink is now allowed to start from the position it ended the day before instead of its place in the overall standings. Meaning that today the attack on the front runners of the truck group can really begin!
