R&D Lab Ensures that Valvoline Continues to Develop Technologically Superior Products
Valvoline’s Product Development Lab contains the latest and most technically advanced product development and testing equipment for both the automotive and industrial sectors.
The R&D lab ensures that Valvoline remains on the cuttingedge of today’s technology. Marketing management works hand-in-hand with R&D to develop innovative new products that meet consumer needs. Most recently, the R&D lab focused its efforts on the development of several new Valvoline Professional Series automotive chemicals and Eagle One wash and wax products.
The lab also recently completed the conversion of all of Valvoline’s passenger car motor oils to meet the new GF-4 ILSAC certification required in 2005. Benefits of the new specification include improved fuel economy and lower phosphorus limits.
