We are happy to inform you that Valvoline ProFleet™ 10W-40 motor oil has received the latest Scania LDF-3 approval. The Scania LDF-3 approval makes ProFleet 10W40 now suitable for Euro 4 and 5 engines as well as for the latest Euro 6 engines with EGR, SCR, and DPF exhaust systems. This excellent high-quality UHPD motor oil is compatible with Scania Long Drain interval systems, as described in the enclosed PI-Sheet.
ProFleet 10W40 with LDF-3 approval has been developed for the latest generation Euro 6 engines. These new engines are constructed to comply with the 2012 emission requirements and the Scania fuel economy targets. Furthermore, these new engines are suitable for the use of diesel fuels with a bio diesel proportion of up to 8 percent and are also ready for 100 percent bio fuels in the future.
We would also like to highlight that an important benefit of ProFleet motor oil (with LDF3 approval) is that it can be used as a mixed fleet product due to the number of OEM approvals it carries.
